Heather Anderson earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2000 and is board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She received her undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) in 1995 from Georgia Southern University. Heather Anderson has been practicing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse(Nurse Practitioner) for twenty years. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also is a clinical instructor for Augusta University and teaches prelicensure nursing students in a hospital setting. Prior to joining Hawthorne Medical Associates Heather worked in correctional health and family practice. In her spare time Heather Anderson enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
