Amazing teaching cafeteria with good food, good prices, good service, and a vibrant atmosphere delivered by eager and intelligent students with a smile on their faces.
I love the concept of a kitchen ran by students and led by their instructors/chefs. I think it's a very good idea to let student have real world experience in dealing with customers and working in a fast pace environment to prepare for the real world. The food itself is not bad. There are drinks and snacks you can get as well.
I used to go to the cafeteria at VCC many years ago when I lived in Vancouver, and it was always for dinner, as well as the dining room at JJ's. But now I have moved to Toronto, and I'm back for a short visit, and I decided to actually check out the cafeteria at lunch, and it was just like it used to be. Great food, great service, and great prices. I decided to have the chicken pot pie, and loved it. It was not just pastry like some other places, but it was actually filled with vegetables and chicken, very, very tasty. And I will return tomorrow, Thursday, to get some to take out.
It's a college cafeteria. Food are quite good. But quite expensive considering it was prepared by students.
Amazing lunch deal. Had pork chop with mushroom rice, cheese stuffed jalapeno, broccoli and it was amazing. So worth the price.
awesome place this one
The pizza is soooo good. I have tried two kinds, both are AMAZING! I tried their brioche bread….omgosh! Very buttery, soft delish! Their forccasia bread is soft and very yummy!
I cannt wait to return, and try the other menu items. Very friendly people. Thnku for lunch

Excellent choice of different lunchtime offerings ranging from a pasta bar, panini bar, sandwich burger bar, all offering well made and very flavorful meals at great prices
Definitely good price .. you can experiment future chef food ☺️.. although they are learning but instructors are there to guid. The food quality is ok.. of course can not expect the normal restaurants but it is really interesting helping these young people grow and try their food also☺️
What a find. Delicious food in downtown Vancouver for a quarter of the price. They had made in house French toast with real maple syrup, blueberry compote, and whipped butter, for $6 including tax and tip. Easily a $22 meal down the street. Great for families!! It is a college cafeteria though.
One star down because some students and instructors do not wear face covering, even when serving food at the counter!!! There's nothing I can do if you prepare the food at the back without mouth covering; but seeing servers talking on the food to be put on my plate right in front of me is a big turnoff and concern. Even without covid, it's common practice for food servers to cover mouth in order to avoid spitting on food. Please consider it.
The four-course combo costs $12, pork is good portion; ratatouille tastes good but I was given a quite small portion. The cabbage is too salty in my opinion... anyways, there's room for improvement 😎 3.5/5
