My fiancé got the engagement ring from Leons. It was too big so we went for resizing. From my experience and his personal encounter with the sales in Leons, I can understand why there are totally opposite reviews from other ppl. I think it depends which sales are in the store. He was told by the same women who sold him the ring told him that resizing cost extra and the receipt was not detailed. But when I went with him for resizing we met wonderful customer service. He went in the morning while I went after work so maybe return in a different time and you would enjoy better service.

The customer service is awesome, and the designs are beautiful
Leon himself waxed and made the ring, I wanted it
The price was much cheaper than other places that I researched
He warranted the diamond will not fall, as long as I don’t abuse the ring
I felt like a family member to him; ask for Leon, Suzy for sure
You wont regret

I was shopping for a watch and because they did not have the model I wanted in store, the sales woman offered to order it in for me. However, I was going on holidays in one week. The girl said that would NOT be a problem as they could put a rush on the order and they would call me when the watch was in. I waited until the day before I had to leave which was 7 days after I placed the order and was told the watch was not in and they would have to call the watch company the next day to see how far along the order was. I explained to the woman on the phone that the sales clerk has assured me that the watch would be there before I left but she didn't seem to care very much, only that they would call the following morning to follow up. I get back from vacation expecting a message on my answering machine regarding my watch order. No such luck. So I go to the store fully expecting to pick up my watch since it has now been two and a half weeks. Without even bother to look to see if my watch was in, the sales clerk said my watch was not there yet and she had another customer who was also going away who was waiting for their watch. My impression was that she could care less. I was pretty choked but left without saying anything. I get home and there is a message on my machine saying that my watch was in. The call was made right after I left the store!! I go back the next day and the same woman who told me my watch had not arrived served me. No apology to start about making me come back a second time, just how would I like to pay. In fact, when she was adjusting the band, my daughter, who accompanied me pointed out that she was "not very nice." I did get a belated apology that struck me as totally insincere. They may not care about just losing one customer as I will NEVER shop there again but I will also be letting other potential customers know about my negative experience.

I have been buying jewellry from Leon since the early 80's when he started his shop out of his house. I recently (July 2010) bought a custom made diamond ring from him and it is absolutely stunning. Don't believe these negative comments. They don't know a great jeweller when they see one! Leon is a great guy and will do everyting he can to make his customers happy. Why else would I still be going to him for almost 30 years??

doesnt this place ever get new stuff in ?

Anyways, thats not my complaint, its the quality of service, in which they
have NONE!!!!.
My story:bought a pair of earrings there, wife hated them, so she got the ones
she liked, but they cracked in half the same day !
went back and Leon (the owner) did not want to repair or replace them, what
an idoit ! I mean I paid over $350 !!!

I was vary looking for a ring for the past 6 months for my wife for our 25th anniversary. I went to many stores and kept coming back to this store. I wasn't pressured into buying, which made me comfortable. I purchased the ring my wife loved it!. Thank you for the great experience.

I was in the market looking for a engagment ring I had gone to many jewellery store but could not find the perfect ring. Until I went to Leon jewellers the manager suggested that maybe a custom design would be more along the line of what I was looking for. She came up with a beutiful design. The ring turned out to be amazing and I was happy. I proposed to my fiance on the weekend and she said Yes! I loved the experience I had with Suzie I would recomend all my frieds to Leon Jewellers

leon jewellers is the only store in will got to, top of the line custom made jeweller....

just bought a ring for my gf from Leon, i did my shopping around i got the best deal with the best quality. Great staff and Leon is a great guy .

my husband bought me a simple engagement ring and i wasn´t happy with the design of the ring so i took it to leon jewellers. He designed a beautiful engagement ring and made a band to match it. It took a while but i was very happy with the final design. I highly recommend him.

My husband bough me a engagement ring from Leon which need to be resized. The sales girl insist me to size it to a small size that the ring can be tight on figure, but when I picked up I resized the ring can not be put on at all. Then Leon said it is totally me responsiblity to choose a good size for myself and they need to charge it for resize!!!!!
The more ironic thing happened after is that the dimon dropped by itself infront of Leon's face....... When I asked how possible the dimon can drop from a brand new ring they said: WE ARE SAILING INSURANCE FOR DIMON ALSO.......

I am really surprised to see all these unhappy costumers. I costum made my engagement ring at this store and it looks absolutely stunning.

I have been purchasing items from this store for years, they are great people, who do custom work,repairs on site, and give an honest opinion. They are not a chain store that sells cheap things, but a store that sells quality at fair prices. Give it another go!

We have shopped at Leon Jewellers for over 25 years and have never had a problem. They are great in service and honesty. Leon himself always gurantees and comes through. He has great staff, don't know why you all are complaining. No business is perfect. We have all bought our wedding rings, anniversary, baptism etc gifts from him. Hope you give them another try, it will be worth your time.

I don't know what these people are talking about. I bought my wedding band, a diamond cut chain, plus got my wife's engagement ring and wedding band custom made from Leon. He was great, Neetu was the best sales person, no pressure. I got exactly what I asked for. I had my goods appraised and they appraised at double what I paid for them. I always recommend anyone to go there. I only deal with Leon, (Neetu is not there anymore). Maybe you just didn't build a rapport with him. I get served on hand and foot there always walk away happy and with a killer deal

I'm surprised to see these negative reviews here. My fiance went to Leon's on advice of a friend, who had purchased an engagement ring & 2 wedding bands there. My fiance spent several hours talking with the staff there, and found a ring to his liking. They happily resized it once for him, and then once again for me once I had tried it on. The ring is of great quality and they offered a fantastic price compared to what the diamond is worth.

I am deducting half a star because Leon himself gave off a bit of a skeezy vibe when I went back to pick up the ring after the final fitting -- trying to slick-talk by saying how wonderful my fiance was and how he had promised to buy the wedding bands there as well (he hadn't). It came off as a bit pressuring, which did sour the whole experience a bit.

Overall, though, I ended up with a great quality ring for a fantastic price. I would consider shopping here for bands as well.

Really really bad service and full of excuses. DO NOT SHOP HERE!@!@ After looking at a lot of engagement rings, we finally decided to get a custom ring made here. the owner, Leon and the manager sounded very promising. DO NOT BE FOOLED! We put a deposit down on the ring, they made it, we paid for the job while the centre stone was set. Upon receiving, we noticed a lot of things wrong and confronted Leon and the sales manager, Janet. They promised the ring to be done at a later date. We returned the defective ring and they kept making excuses for the final complete date of the new ring..2 months now and no ring. We are disputing with the credit card company as they are unwilling to give us a refund.

High pressure sales used on 15 year old boy for mother's Christmas gift. Boy was asked how much he had to spend first and charged tha exact amount. Took his cash money up front. Made a plain silver bangle in 1 hour. Wrote on receipt "No return, No fix" The bracelet will only fit a child's wrist, not the standard 2 and 3/4 inch diameter of a bangle for an adult - this clerk took andvantage. We will have to deal with it after the Holiday as we live out of the store's area.....
SO DISAPPOINTED......
