Interior Offroad Equipment (IOR) started operations in Prince George, BC in 1974. It all started with early lift kits and a distributor agreement with The Warn Winch Company. IOR quickly realized that the ability to manufacture a line of winch bumpers in-house was needed and the first Interior Offroad fabrication division was started, followed shortly after by aluminum running boards and box liners were being manufactured in-house.
