He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Loyola University Chicago. He then completed his medical education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He was accepted to Yale-New Haven Hospital Foot and Ankle Surgery residency program and ultimately served as Chief Resident, completing comprehensive training specializing in foot & ankle reconstruction and limb salvage. Dr. Chimerofsky is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), American Podiatric Medicine Association (APMA) and is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). In his free time, Dr. Chimerofsky enjoys spending time with his family (including his twin sister), traveling, cooking, enjoying California beaches/vineyards, weightlifting, and cycling.
