We Help Adults 40+ in Baltimore, MD After Cancer Treatment, Surgery, and Injury with a Gentle Approach to Overcome Stiffness and Pain, Move Better, and Get Back to the Active Life They Once Enjoyed. By Appointment Only . If you've been elsewhere for care, have had surgeries and still have residual struggles and pain, deBorja Physical Therapy can help. If you are hoping to avoid surgery, and are looking for a provider who will listen, evaluate, explain, and collaborate together with you as a unique and special individual, you have come to the right place. We'll make sure that your body is mobile, resilient, strong, and optimized for the performance of life. Adults who come to deBorja Physical Therapy include: Survivors and thrivers of cancer who are looking for long term relief from chronic tightness, weakness, pain, neuropathy, balance impairment, and fatigue so that they can be as mobile and active as possible for their own emotional and physical health and to be able to provide for their loved ones. Health conscious women and moms who want to move, look and feel better so they can run around town with their kids' activities, participate in all sorts of exercise like yoga, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking, without nagging aches and pains. Professional women and men who know that pain medication prescribed by their physician is not the long term answer to their problem, and are looking for something more, something holistic, that will keep them strong for the long term. Active elderly women and men who value their independence and autonomy. As role models, they know they play a crucial role in the well-being of their community and their family of adult kids, grandkids, grand nieces and nephews, and extended family. They pride themselves that they can provide their family with the wisdom, patience, direction and joy that are so needed. Concerned men and women 40 and over who realize the value and importance of doing everything they can to manage or prevent the devastating effects of chronic conditions like arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, joint pain, and obesity. Weekend athletes who were confident strong performers in high school, who wish to improve their performance or get back into the sports that were such an important and memorable part of their upbringing. Determined but fed up adults battling chronic pain despite having sought multiple providers without the relief they so deeply seek.
