They also have frozen cups with more flavors to enjoy at home. I didn't try their gelato bar but they look good. There is line up but moves fast. Worth the wait. CASH ONLY!!

My friend came here every week, they mentioned they changed the soft serve weekly, and all of those flavors are amazing.

If you’re a gelato lover, do yourself a favour and visit Bar Ape Gelato in Toronto!

We tried the chocolate, lime trio, and yogurt sage & lemon soft serves, and every single one was incredible. The chocolate was rich and decadent, while the lime trio and yogurt sage & lemon were bright, refreshing, and packed with real flavour.

But the absolute star of the show was the pistachio gelato bar. Oh. My. Gosh. It was hands down one of the best gelato treats I’ve ever had. The pistachio flavour was intense, creamy, and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, just pure pistachio goodness in every bite.

You can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. Bar Ape completely lives up to the hype. We’ll definitely be back to try more flavours!

We didnt know it is CASH ONLY, so yay be aware. The gelato is great but not as good as all the blow up on internet. Staffs r super nice!!! Shout out to them. The vibe is wonderful. When seeing the line, people waiting for them to open, we know it is great!

Great soft-serve ice cream spot. They offer weekly changing flavors, which keeps things interesting. We tried the banana pie, pistachio, and pomegranate, and everything was delicious. The texture of the ice cream was excellent — smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. At around $7 each, the price felt pretty fair as well.

The only downside was the size of the cup. The ice cream melts quite quickly, and once it starts melting, the middle section causes it to overflow from the sides and get messy very fast unless you eat it within a few minutes of it being served. It wasn’t even a hot day, and it still became difficult to manage.

Other than that, it’s a great spot with quick service at the window, and we’ll definitely be back.

To say I’m obsessed with this place is an understatement. I came last night at 9:50pm on a chilly night and there was still a lineup. The line moves fast tho. Tried their gelato bars for the first time, sooo goood. Went back 5 minutes later to buy more

Coming from someone who does not have a sweet tooth, Bar Ape is cut from a different cloth. I tried a double twist of their mascarpone and Ontario peach gelato soft serve and it was stunning. The consistency, the flavours, the whole profile was something unique and special. I’m a fan now and will be visiting frequently. I highly recommend giving the shop a visit!

One of the best gelato spots in Toronto! Love the weekly fresh selection of gelatos that change with seasonal fruit that is available. Every time I’ve been it has been awesome. Even though the lines are long, they move quick! Worth the wait for sure.
