It all started with losing my internet for few days..
I called to have it repair and apparently if nobody has called they have no knowledge whether or not their service is working. finally i got somebody on the line after waiting for 20 minutes and my hardware was outdated and the teksavvy so called specialist couldn't do anything about it. So after ordering a new modem which was sent to the wrong person i had to called back and order another one. at this point i will get reimbursed for the previous one because it is still at the post office. it has been 5 days without internet and i will keep you posted with the outcome.
so far I hate their costumer service. Its simply incompetent.

Call local for help because their 1,800 number or whatever has a long wait time! I was told in person i would be on hold a few mins and after 40 i was talked to which just ended up as a complaint...It's a hit and miss with them!

We recently switched from the Bell/Rogers merry-go-round to Teksavvy and got a VOIP phone system. It's cheaper. It's better. The customer service has been the highlight so far. It takes a while to get through to them on the phone, but a quick e-mail will solve all your problems. They have real people responding to what you say. They even respond to my "thank you" e-mails.

I hope they eventually drive Bell and Rogers out of business, and then become a monopoly, and in effect, the new Bell/Rogers, and then start treating everybody badly, not because I want people to be treated badly, but just because that's how much I hate Bell and Rogers.

Teksavvy has been my internet provider for over 15yrs. There has always been a actual local person to talk to when I call tech support with a question or need assistance. The service has been exceptional and I highly recommend them because of their fantastic tech support, and service to everyone looking for a new provider. Teksavvy is the only internet provider I have had and as long as their tech support and internet quality remains as good, I will remain with them indefinitely. Let me list what I love about the Teksavvy in Chatham:
1. First they have 24/7 support. And they really are there when you call them for help! And it doesn't take forever to get someone to help you, and they actually do help you!
2. When I call, I am talking to someone in Chatham! And they are polite and helpful.
3. The internet service is excellent. I have not had any problems with them in over 15yrs, and that says A LOT!
4. Their prices have remained consistently good over all these years. Yes they have risen, but so has the competitors.
5. The fact that they have customers for this long that are still happy with their customer support and their service says a ton these days.
**Please note I am not affiliated with this company whatsoever or personally even know anyone working for them - I am just a very happy customer.
I do not know a lot about computers and to say that they help me, I mean they help and I have always been satisfied with the service and support and have not gone without my internet service in all these years.

Teksavvy was recommended by tyler.n49.ca and a quick run through of their website suggested they had exactly what we needed. A phone call confirmed that.

There aren't too many small ISP operations left in Ontario - most have been soaked up by Bell Sympatico, Primus, Telus, and Rogers. So when the opportunity presented itself to do business with a small operation we took it.

Teksavvy had our DSL set up in 5 days flat, from the time I called until the modem lights synced up and we were online with them. We did have a small booboo with the phone number, but I think that had more to do with Rogers not giving up our circuit ID correctly. Imagine that.

Unlimited bandwidth, static IP, and rock solid performance and reliability, all for $60 a month. Where do I sign up for that?
