amazing service from this agency
This agency has a hard time deciding what floor of the building it likes to be on, so the staff is perpeptually directing you to one place or another. The office itself is messy and disorganized. I went here because they booked my trip last year, and sent me a $50 discount card. The card however was useless, as I wasn't booking my trip "through Uniglobe", but with Westjet Vacations. Whatever.
The agent booking my trip had no idea how to use the internet to book a vacation, and had to call Westjet to get them to do it. I paid cash for the trip, and so the agent apparently had to book my reservation with the agency credit card. No problem. The agency has never heard of American Express Business though, and puts YOUR trip on some Chinese person's personal card. Huh? I inquired as to what this was all about and was told "thats how we do it." I had questions after I booked the trip (like where my itinerary was), and was fed baloney about how they had called me twice at home etc. etc. I had to email 4 times to get in tough with anyone at Uniglobe, and finally eneded up having to call and threaten them. In one breath the agent told me "Westjet doesn't issue vouchers, you should get yours right away". HUH? Overall this agency is a poor reflection of customer service, and the travel industry in general. Thankfully, with its continued lousy service, they won't be around much longer.
