I have always found great joy and value in taking care of people. After working in sports medicine as an athletic trainer for nearly a decade, I decided that I wanted to grow my abilities to more fully care for patients. That prompted me to pursue becoming a physician assistant. As a PA, I am able to provide better, more complete care for the patients I see on a daily basis. Orthopedic issues can really impact someone’s quality of life. I understand that there is more to caring for a patient than merely treating their symptoms so I always try to consider how a person is being affected by the condition they are experiencing. I like to get to know my patients because I believe that helps me provide better care. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and young kids. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I go on adventures big and small together with my family whenever I can.
