BEING WITH ALLSTATE INSURANCE FOR THE LAST 12 YEARS. I AM SO SURPRISED THAT THEY REALLY DON'T VALUE THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMER AT ALL. RECENTLY MY CREDIT CARD WAS EXPIRED AND AS THE MONTHLY TRANSACTIONS DEBIT TO PAY THE BILL ARE THROUGH THIS CREDIT CARD.INSTEAD OF CALLING US OR INFORM US IMMEDIATELY BY REGISTERED MAIL THAT THE MONTHLY PAYMENT HAS BEEN STOPPED, (WHICH WE NEVER HAVE THIS KIND OF DELAY PAYMENT IN THE PAST 12 YEARS). THEY SEND US BY REGISTERED MAIL ALMOST 2 MONTHS LATER THAT THEY WILL CANCEL OUR INSURANCE POLICY IN A FEW DAYS DUE TO FACT THAT THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO GET THE MONEY FROM OUR CREDIT CARD. IF WE WANTED TO REINSTATE OUR POLICY, WE HAVE TO PAY THE WHOLE YEAR PREMIUM AT ONE TIME PLUS $50.00 PENALTY CHARGES. I SAID TO THEM THAT WE DIDN'T GET ANY CALL OR REGISTERED MAIL REGARDING THIS PROBLEM AND WE DIDN'T DO IT ON PURPOSE. THE AGENT TOLD US THAT IF YOU DO NOT WANTED TO PAY THE PENALTY, JUST SIMPLY SIGN BACK THE CANCELLATION REQUEST AND THERE WILL BE NO PENALTY. I FOLLOWED HIS INSTRUCTION AND CALL HIM WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT. HE CHANGED HIS TONE THIS TIME THAT EVEN YOU WANTED TO CANCEL THE EXISTING POLICY, THE PENALTY STILL APPLIED, PLUS I HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY FOR EARLY TERMINATION OF THE POLICY. WHAT A SCAM THIS IS. THEY ARE THE INITIAL PARTY THAT WANTED TO CANCEL THEIR CUSTOMER'S POLICY AND THEY ARE ALSO SET UP THE CUSTOMER TO PAY THE PENALTY FOR THE EARLY TERMINATION OF THE INSURANCE. THIS IS TOTALLY A JOKE AND I WENT TO THEIR OFFICE TO PAY THE PENALTY RIGHT AWAY THAT
THEY ARE ASKING AND I REQUEST HIM TO GIVE ME AND DETAILED BREAK DOWN OF THE PENALTY CHARGES AS WELL AS AN OFFICIAL RECIEPT FOR MY RIDICOLOUS PENALTIES PAYMENT THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD TO ME FOR MY RECORDS. THE AGENT TOLD ME THAT I WILL RECEIVED IT IN THE NEXT 2 OR 3 DAYS. THIS IS HAPPENED IN JAN 2014 AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THOSE PENALTIES BREAK DOWN INVOICE AND OFFICIAL CREDIT CARD DEBIT RECEIPT FROM ALLSTATE WHICH I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD RECEIVE IT IN 2 TO 3 DAYS. I MAKE THE COMPLAINT TO THE BRANCH MANAGER BY MORE THAN 10 EMAILS AND PHONES CALL AND HE NEVER REPLY MY EMAILS AND I ONLY TALKED TO HIM FOR ONE MINUTE. HE PROMISED ME THAT WHOSE DOCUMENTS WILL BE ON THE WAY IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. AGAIN THIS IS SOMETHING HAPPENED IN EARLY APRIL AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THOSE DOCUMENTS FOR MY VERIFICATION. I SENT MORE THAN 10 EMAILS TO THE MANAGER FOR LAST 10 DAYS WITH NOT EVEN ONE FEED BACK FROM HIM. I MAKE A LOT OF PHONE CALLS AND HIS STAFF SAYING HE IS ALWAYS IN MEETING, I LEFT THE MSG TO ASK HIM TO CALL ME BACK BY HE NEVER DID.
NOW I JUST WONDER WHAT THE HELL THIS INSURANCE COMPANY IS DOING TO THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMER WHO WAS WITH THEM FOR MORE THAN 12 YEARS. HOW SHAMELESS THEY ARE SET UP THE CUSTOMER TO CANCEL THE EXISTING POLICY SO THAT THEY COULD CHARGE THE CUSTOMER MORE PENALTIES. WHY THEY DON'T VALUE THEIR EXISTING CUSTOMER BUT THEY PUT A LOT OF ADVERTISING SAYING HOW GOOD THEIR ARE!!!! THIS IS TOTALLY BULL SHIT AS THEY REALLY TREATED THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE SHIT. NEVER ENCOUNTER IN MY LIFE THAT AN INSURANCE AGENT AND MANAGER CAN LIED TO THE CUSTOMER AND NOT RESPONSING CUSTOMER'S REQUEST EVEN THOUGHT I HAVE SENT THOSE EMAILS FOR NUMEROUS TIME. REALLY SHAME ON WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. I SHARED MY BAD TREATMENT FROM THIS INSURANCE COMPANY WITH MY FRIENDS AND GUESS WHAT, A FEW OF THEM HAVE GONE THROUGH THE SAME BAD EXPERIENCE AS ME AS THEIR AUTO INSURANCE WAS CANCEL BY THEM WITH ONLY A VERY SHORT NOTICE WITHOUT ANY REASON. WHAT A BIG SCAM THAT AN BIG INSURANCE COMPANY WILL PUT ON THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS. THE BEST EXPERIENCE I GOT NOW IS I CHANGE MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND MY INURANCE PREMIUM IS 20% LESS THAT WHAT I HAVE PAID TO THIS BAD INSURANCE COMPANY IN CANADA PREVIOUSLY. HOPE THEY WILL HAVE ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS CANCEL THEIR POLICIES WITH THEM SO THAT THEY KNOW WHAT THEY SHOULD DO IN THE FUTURE TO SAVE THOSE VALUE CUSTOMERS.
