Dr. Thompson is a board certified family medicine physician. He obtained his undergraduate degree from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois and earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his residency at the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Thompson' practice focuses on the full scope of family medicine including pediatric and prenatal care. He provides low-risk prenatal care until 32 weeks - no deliveries. He also performs multiple office procedures including minor surgical procedures. Dr. Thompson is the site chief at SSM Health Dean Medical Group in Waunakee. Dr. Thompson is a Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a past winner of the American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award. When he’s not at the office, Dr. Thompson loves spending time with family. He enjoys outdoor sports, as well as soccer. He also performs international medical mission work.
