I've been to them before and service was as if you are bothering them. On the day I went, there are 3 people there, I recognize, on more than one occasion a young caucasian guy who likes to ignore customers. He sits at the back. You stand there and it's as if you have to catch his attention even though he can see you arrive and stand there. Hey, buddy, if you don't like dealing with people...you better move on. This is a customer related business. I don't know about the other two, one is an elderly Asian man and one caucausian lady both in their mid 50s. They are more senior than him. I went by another year, only because it was close by. The Chinese gent was busy serving another customer, so I stood in line. No other customer than the man being served in front of me needed to be served. The lady was busy doing paper work. The young guy saw me but seemed unsure if he wanted to get off his butt. I had in my hand an auto renewal notice...very obviously in my hand. He ignored me, so I waited, checked my cell, moved around a bit. He continued to ignore me. When I finally moved into view of the lady, she noticed me immediately, but I guess she was too deep in paperwork and being senior to him, turn and gave him a stern look as if to say..."hey, I'm busy, do you mind, there's a customer, you're supposed get off your butt and serve her" cold hard reprimanding stare. It made him annoyed so he begrudgingly got off his chair and ask me what I wanted. All I can say is that they should teach him how to present a better attitude or quit his job or fire him. If he can't change his attitude, he should not be in this type of job. He makes you feel as if he's got better things to do other than to help you or that he was sick of doing what he had been doing in the past few years. There's nothing worse than dealing with a miserable dysfunctional sales person. Anyhow, I had forgotten to bring something so I had to go home but decided to go to another agency. I would never to deal with this agency again for it lousy attitude. It only takes one bad apple to spoil the rest. Yeah, they are in Superstore, which means they have long hours (though different shifts of people) and open 7 days a week. They are conveniently located so they don't need to market or advertise themselves or provide a good attitude to bring in customers as people go to them out of convenience, hence they might not care as much about providing a friendly service. I hope they move out so that a better insurance agency with people who love their job move in.
