Savvy Maritime Yachting Academy provides industry leading deckhand, steward(ess) and tender training for the yacht and superyacht industry with emphasis on extensive practical exposure. There are currently 3 primary courses available: 1. Deckhand Training Academy: An extensive deckhand training course (8 weeks) that gives candidates all of the tools they need in order to build a successful deckhand career on yachts or superyachts. 2. Interior / Steward(ess) Training Academy: An extensive 10 day stew / stewardess training course for candidates who would like to build a successful yacht interior career. 3. Tender Handling Academy: A superyacht oriented course comprised of 2 days of navigational theory followed by 8 days practical training at the helm. Students are taught in an industry relevant 10 000sq. ft training facility by staff with over 75 years of combined experience.
