Great service recieved on our order for a Le Creuset Goose pot, item was well packaged and arrived very quickly. Originally we had checked at the Bay and found consiglio's to be 300 cheaper, yes thats right! I ordered a Dutch oven for my Dad for Father's Day. They immediately claimed that my address was not verified. I called the credit card company and the purchase went through even though they say it didn't. I am very skeptical!

I asked about there stock count on there All Clad fry pan and told them I interested in ordering 2 online, as soon as I was going to order the item they raised there price. Very strange ?

I ordered a couple of staub pots. They arrived quickly and well packed. Thanks!

WOW!!! For the second time yesterday we made an order on line with Consiglio's and just like the time we had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! The site was easy to work with and the response to our order AMAZINGLY FAST!! Within an hour of our order being placed, it had been shipped and had the tracking information readily available! WOW!!

I purchased a Jura Z9 from the online store, and so far it is a great machine. I understand that this is a premium machine and comes with the price tag to match. My concern is dealing with this store. Anytime I have called I get put on hold or end up with someone who does not have any information/knowledge.
I was told that Jura is very strict about promotions etc, but have found an online site that offers the milk cooler and cup warmer for free! This store will not even give the coffee discount!
I have purchased my last item from this store, too much frustration dealing with them.

This is such a unique store with incredible products! Last year we ordered All Clad cookware which was simply incredible and the service received was very professional and timely. Earlier this month we decided to add to our set and dealt with Silvanna in the cookware department, we added 4 pieces to our set! Thanks for your fast service and responding to our questions, this company really gets it!

This machine is great, we like the automatic cappuccino feature its literally pushing a single button! Dealt with Giovanna at Consiglio's she was great, very helpful. We initially went to the Bay where sales help was non existent.

On September 13, 2013 I ordered a professional-quality Imperia R220 pasta maker (plus fettuccine cutter and dough mixer attachment) from Consiglio's Kitchenware website. It cost almost a thousand dollars. Almost two months later and I still don't have a functional pasta maker.


The fettuccine cutter was broken when it arrived. The dough mixer did not fit the model of pasta maker I was sent. I called Consiglio's. They told me that I had to deal with the importer (Aurora). I called Aurora. I made a video and took photos showing the problems. Aurora told me that I had to deal with Consiglio's.


I finally got a return authorization and sent the cutter and mixer back to Consiglio's. Nothing happened. I emailed. I emailed again. I phoned. It turns out that my return shipment had arrived but nobody had noticed or done anything about it.


They sent me a new cutter (by the slowest and cheapest shipping method available). They forgot to include the handle. I have no idea what is going on with the mixer. I've emailed. I've called.


I ordered this "top quality" equipment because I have a new small business and depend on my tools. This disaster has seriously impacted my sales: I've had to cancel shows and roll-back my participation in events because I haven't been able to make product. Starting a small business is a financial struggle - this situation had made it far worse.

I am deeply sorry that I ever ordered anything from Consiglio's. I'll update this review with the outcome when the matter is finally resolved.

Everything was great until I started having problems with the Gaggia Espresso machine I bought. Do NOT buy anything, anywhere, ever made or sold by Philips - if you need warranty service, it is really poor - I have to pay for the shipping to and from the service center for my warranty claim, and this is the second time in under a year. And even though my espresso machine is a safety hazard, according to Philips' own warranty center, they want to repair it rather than replace it, simply because I'm in Canada, not the US. Consiglio's has declined to help me out with this $800 problem they sold to me.

I just made my first purchase online with Consiglios. I've been a little bit skeptical to make purchases online but I have to say I had a great experience. The product was exactly as described. Shipping was also on time and exactly as quoted. I would definitely purchase with them again and will have to, these Consiglio brand beans are amazing!

UPDATE: April 24, 2013. The week following posting this review, I was surprised to receive a telephone call from John Consiglio - manager of Consiglio's Kitchenware.

Having just returned from vacation, we wanted to follow up on my review.

He apologized for the problems I had experienced. He said Lem #22 Meat Grinders were on back-order, but he promised to have a new replacement unit shipped out when they arrived, and that the original unit would be picked up at no cost to me

I was allowed to use the original unit until after the new unit arrived.

He followed through completely on his promises.

I am now a completely and satisfied Consiglio's customer.

I would not hesitate to purchase from Consiglio's in future.

On March 18th, 2013, I purchased a Lem #22 Meat Grinder online from Consiglio's Kitchenware & Gift,1219 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON,.

When my "new" meat grinder arrived, the sausage and plunger attachments were covered in dirty finger-print marks, and there was dried food residue attached to the inside walls of the auger tube.

I immediately e-mailed Consiglios to advise them.

Their sales representative responded by saying that he had removed my meat grinder from its' box and plugged it in to test the motor prior to shipping, and the dirty finger prints on the attachments were his own.

He further stated in his e-mail that he had not noticed any food residue, and he also said: "you would still need to wash the machine before using it the first time either way."

He said (on behalf of Consiglios), that they would not cover the cost to have this unit returned to their store, and offered me a 5% discount.

(I paid a great deal of money for this machine. I am disgusted at receiving a food processing machine with dried food residue inside it - gross!!!!

I am very dis-satisfied with Consiglio's response. I feel Consiglios should have offered to have this unit returned and to replace it with a new and unused unit.

This is the first time I have ever been so thoroughly disgusted with any retailer and I have never written a bad report on anyone, but I feel justified in doing so in this case.)

Update: On Wednesday night, I sent Consiglio's pictures showing the dried food residue inside the auger feed tube. It is noon today (Thursday), and I've received no reply yet.

Update: Thursday 6 pm. Consiglio's has now offered to replace the unit they shipped to me with a new meat grinder, but it will be 2 - 3 weeks until it arrives. Or I can switch to a larger model at an additional cost,or a different make. They will have the original unit picked up a no cost to me.

Ive responded to Consiglio's e-mail, explaining that I use a meat grinder to make daily meals for rescue dogs at our facility, and can't wait 2 - 3 weeks for a grinder.

Another e-mail from Consiglio's online sales representative. He apologizes on behalf of Consiglio's for the condition of the meat grinder that they shipped to me, and says the store manager will provide me with a 5% discount.

(I am not satisfied with Consiglio's. I paid for a new unit; had I wanted a used meat grinder, I could have bought one privately at less that half the price of a new unit.)

My wife ordered her new cookware which arrived very quickly and was very competitively priced. Unfortunately when the item arrived she realized she actually needed a larger size for our Christmas turkey. After contacting Consiglio's we were able to have the original cookware sent back. What was great was that they moved up our shipment so we would receive the replacement next day in time for the holidays! All around very good experience dealing with this company and will do so for future cookware purchases!

Asked a question about a product and the price and the raised the price and never responded to my question. Beware! It is much safer to go with a known company that backs their sales.

In my experience, it's always the first experience that's the best predictor of quality (product / service) and the probability of being satisfied with a transaction.
In this case, my first contact was the websilte.
I've been searching for a Staub Dutch oven. The nightmare of this search has been identifying specific products and models (to allow comparison) based on the measurements provided on each site. No two seemed the same. Sometimes, on the same site, different measurements were given for the same product. Here, it took about 2 minutes to be identify each model and key differences between them.I will definately follow up. (and have developed a preference).

Have to comment on our wonderful experience in dealing with Consiglio's. The Le Creuset French Oven arrived promptly and was exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much for making our online experience so wonderful! The French oven made a wonderful Grad gift for our daughter and she can't wait to use it.

Ordered our canning equipment recently from this company and all arrived in great condition. I find it rare these days to get good customer service. I called in and was given some very helpful information to help me make my decision.I Would definitely order from this company again.

Products were as advertised and arrived trouble free within 3 or 4 days, bonus: no shipping charge.!

Nice people, but they are not able or willing to deal with warranty service, if you run into problems. Do your self a favour, and go to a reliable, reputable, espresso place instead!!!

We just ordered our new Z7 Jura from Consiglio's and love it. Just a quick note to say the phone service was amazing, the individual knew everything about the product and the price was super! Ordered and delivered via Fed Ex to my door in less than 24hrs. Looking forward to ordering our holiday gifts from this retailer.
