I am an internal medicine physician specializing in palliative care at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. My clinical interests include palliative care in oncology and population community-based palliative care. Above all else, I feel privileged to care for patients faced with serious illness, ideally working to help them live as well as possible. My hope is to work together with my patients' medical team to manage symptoms related to serious illness and to help patients navigate the complex decisions they face when living with a serious illness — aiming to ensure their individual goals and values are honored.I act as an assistant professor at UVM Larner College of Medicine. My research interests include population health-based delivery of palliative care as well as primary palliative care education.
