Jeremy Byrd, MD, majored in English and in biology at Campbell University in North Carolina. Dr. Byrd then received a master's degree in cell biology at East Carolina University. He completed his medical school education at Brody School of Medicine and then went onto residency at Greenville Hospital System (now Prisma Health). He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He has a particular interest in teaching and does so in two capacities, both at the USC School of Medicine and the Internal Medicine resident clinic. He is excited to take care of patients of all ages at Prisma Health Primary Care–Fountain Inn. Dr. Byrd lives with his wife and four children in Mauldin. He has a particular interest in medical missions and has traveled to Brazil, Honduras and Kenya. He enjoys swimming, bouldering, hiking, running and superhero comics.
