Ivy Motel

Me and my husband stayed at this place called the ivy motel located at 1417 lakeshore rd east in mississauga .My husband woke up around 3:00 am with bed bug bites all over his body.I was disgusted not only that, I was watching TV one day and to my utter disgust I saw a huge Cockroach crawling across the TV. If that wasn't enough the towels were so dirty and the paint was peeling and there was also mold. When I brought it to the attention of the male cleaners there they basically called me a liar!! Wtf.From 9:00 pm through to the wee morning hours there are crackheads, prostitutes and very shady people coming and going! I've also heard the management argue with people that stay there on a weekly basis about them not getting there full amount back what a rip! Definitely not worth $85.00 a night. If I were you I would never bring your family there!!!

I feel for all of you who has negatives experiences at may not be the same management but which I do j=know is that Im at this motel for the last 9 months and I have very little bad thinks to say about Ivy Motel that's why I wonder if all that bad experiences has accursed in the pass was the same management now its is not a 5 star motel but out of ten I give 3 or 4

I can share the other reviewers' experience. Me and my girlfriend, we booked the motel for 4 nights. After the first horrible night, we checked out. This place is disgusting. They don't have non smoking rooms, so every room smells of smoke. We didn't even dare to take a shower. The window could not be closed and the shutters were broken as well. There was a bright, shining lantern right in front of our window, which kept us awake. Next morning, we checked out, although we already paid for all 4 nights. Granted, they returned the money for the following three nights.
As of today (Oct 2013), this place is NOT (!) renovated.

I stayed at Ivy motel, that was a really good stay. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed a lot because of good customer service, decent and private rooms. The owner or employees over there were really good. They helped me with discounted rates because I stayed there for a month. I really liked the place, renovated and peaceful place. I recommend this place for everyone who wants good stay.

I stayed at this motel in May 2009 and ended up with over 30 bedbugs bites!!! I've never been so disgusted!!! On their website, they advertise the IVY MOTEL as newly renovated!!! STAY AWAY FROM IVY MOTEL!!!

So I stayed at the Ivy motel with my boyfriend and his daughter and the bed was infested with red beg bugs. It was sooo disgusting!! We tried to get a refund or a discount and they refused, all they did was switch our room which wasn't any better at all. The lights didnt work, the AC didnt work, the fridge didnt work. Take my advice and DO NOT stay at this motel.

IF THERE WAS A NEGATIVE RATING I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE RATING...FIRST OFF THE PLACE HAS REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE HARDLY EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT...THEY HAD ROACHES CRAWLING IN THE BATHTUB AND DEAD ONES ON THE GROUND I'M TELLING U NASSTTYYY S*** DON'T GO HERE NOT WORTH YOUR TIME THE DOORS DON'T EVEN LOCK! YUP AND THEY OVERCHARGE U!

I stayed here for a night with a three girlfriends after a late night. This motel thought that because I had a nice car, and we were all young they would scam us. They charged my Visa once....and then four days later they charged it again - thinking I would not notice!
THEY SCAM! They would not give me back my money when i went back there as well.
The doors don't lock, people that were high on drugs came in our room at 5 am and we had to all get up to tell them to get out after a big fight with them.
Not a good stay at all.
