Proficiency Tax was born in 2016 as a small home business. As the founder began producing tax returns for close friends and family, the increase in demand for our services led to the creation of a team of accountants and tax specialists. It was then that the name Proficiency Tax was chosen. Our team consists of accountants, tax specialists, and candidates in process to obtain CPA accreditation. New services are added over time and the company is offering its services much more online. In person services are provided in exceptional cases or if the taxpayer requests to meet with an agent.
