Very nice people at the desk. Asian owned but locally operated. I stayed there several times.
Housekeeping is terrible, rooms are never well cleaned -- but cheap rooms and a central location.
Recently, however, the place has become infested with bed bugs.
Most hotels in Victoria now have them, but if hotel owners do not take the issue seriously and work to eradicate the problem, the bed bugs will continue to rapidly spread.
Obviously I will not return to the Daffodil. Sad, really, because the desk managers were so friendly and accommodating.

Quiet and convenient location, a block to Mayfair shopping mall, and 10 minutes walk to downtown harbor. Good Value
I would personally recommend this place I stayed there once and it was nice and welcoming. If you need a place that is not high of price or just on a tour of the city and staying for short time I recommend this place.
