Ridge Meadows Hospital

Spent seven days in Allouette Manor, the hospitals' rehab centreafter receiving a totalknee replacement at VGH.This unit is cronically understaffed. Everything is done in a haphazard manner; not an organized routine. There appears to be no supervision of staff who divide their time between talking to each other and putting out fires.Typical response time after ringing for assistance with call bell is 45-60min.Patients must monitor each other and assist when call bell not answered. Half of the staff have a poor attitude as if they are doing you a favour when you want something routine done such as getting your urinal emptied.Would not recommend(VGH is good).
