Fernando A. Moya, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. He also completed postdoctoral research fellowships at Harvard University and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He has been published in numerous pharmacological medical journals and is a fellow and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.Dr. Moya is passionate about meeting patients every day and finding solutions to help them recover to live healthy lives. Using his medical, pharmacological and surgical backgrounds, he takes a holistic approach when working with each patient to find the right treatment option for them.Dr. Moya provided medical coverage for the Miami Open ATP, WTA, and the MLS InterMiami CF from 2022-2023.In his free time, Dr. Moya enjoys sports of all kinds and at every level. He also loves basketball and plays tennis.
