Dr. Peter Maiers is living his dream by practicing orthopedic sports medicine with a specialty in hip and knee injuries. He utilizes the same methods and techniques developed for athletes to treat those who are injured at home, at play or in the workplace, with a focus on the following areas:
● Athletic Hip Injuries (Including labral pathology, impingement and hip arthroscopy)
● ACL Reconstruction
● Cartilage Restoration
● Complete Knee Care (Including pediatric and adult athletic injuries)
● Ligament Reconstruction
● Joint Preservation
● Malalignment
● Meniscal Repair
● Patellofemoral Disease
Dr. Maiers is actively performing research on the arthroscopic treatment of hip impingement and arthroscopic ACL reconstruction. He lectures nationally, teaching other orthopedic surgeons to perform some of the techniques he employs. When he's not working, Dr. Maiers and his wife enjoy spending time with their three sons.
