Our technical staff includes certified ophthalmic technicians and certified ophthalmic assistants. Maintaining certification through the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) helps ensure that our technical staff are trained at the highest level in order to provide our patients with excellent care. Our technical staff are trained in the medical and surgical care of the eye, visual field testing, macula & nerve fiber layer analysis, corneal topography and ophthalmic biometry. All continue their education on a yearly basis through local and regional meetings.
