One Stop Hobbies

Went into One-Stop in Abby, looking for a remote car for my boy.
We saw a fantastic car on the consignment stand.
I inquired, It seemed like a great deal and was told i could bring it back.
We bought it took it home, and found an issue... we brought it back, and it was suggested we buy a new battery, so we did...
Still the same issue, so we brought it back the next day...They suggested a new reciever....so we bought it....
same problem again..so we brought it back...the motor was pouched
we asked if we could refund and buy new.... they said no, and suggested we put it back on the shelf as a consignment...(for some other unsuspecting customer?)
We spent my boys paper route/chore money....lesson learned Dont stop at One Stop

I made the owner an offer on a few boxes of clearance parts. He accepted the offer. Then 15 minutes later while packing it up, decided he wasn't making enough profit on hi old clearance stock and wouldn't honor his deal. If a business man won't honor his word, then I won't deal with him again. I've never gone back and he has lost more than a few dollars with the rc equipment and parts my friends and I have bought from other retailers who don't go back on their word. Anyone who asks, I recommend going elsewhere.

I am from the prairies and recently visited this shop while visiting relatives in Chilliwack. I was very impressed with the stock of models and the helpful expertise in the train department. Will definitely shop by mail and in person there again.

I have been a customer here for years. Yes you have standard business practices like having to send something back to the manufacturer to be fixed at the request of the manufacturer. I have always been treated well and respectful. I think "Guppy" has no idea what is going on as the owner does not "stink" and does not "smoke". Immature is at hand here I think. When ever I have needed warranty they have always helped with whatever can be done. Great selection for whatever hobby you are in. I will continue to support my local hobby shop and not the local moron.

Bought a rc item-installed it and it broke,all within 12 hrs. After being told if its faulty bring it right back,now suddenly i have to send it away down south and deal with it myself.Stinky smoking old lady that owns it also hung up on me.
