They did not clean my furnace last year, and would probably not have done it this year if I had not called. At that time I was told "we don't call anymore. Its up to you to call and make the appointment".
During other discussions with them I was told.........Yes we still call to make the appointments.
.........We must have missed you...........I don't know how you got missed. (Three different employees).

Jeff came to clean the furnace. He marked the oil tank "Immediate Hazard", not up to code, etc. Then proceeded to tell me how unfit my furnace was. I asked if the parts were included in my plan and his response was........"Maybe!!!,but that company is out of business and we can't get the parts for it. I said I would have lots time to decide what to do because I had enough oil in the tank to last till Christmas. He then led me to believe that if I didn't comply in 14 days my whole system would be shut down. I let him call the office and make an appointment for Mike to come out and give me an estimate on a new furnace, tank and chimney liner.

After two more estimates and my second compliance notice, I talked to Adam Koven and told him I would not need their services any longer as I was going to switch to propane with a different company.
I suggested that as my service plan with them was good till the end of Dec, and they couldn't fix the furnace as the plan provided, I should be entitled to a refund.
That's when he tells me " Your furnace wasn't condemned and we can get the parts from another supplier. Can't give me a refund because he already paid a worker to have it cleaned.
Funny......I paid for a cleaning last year that they didn't do.

I knew Jeff did not condemn the furnace when he was here, but he led me to believe that if I didn't replace the tank in 14 days, they would come back and shut it down.

Their losses????????
My losses.....Nearly a full tank of oil and $229.00 for a useless burner service plan!
