Scam Artists.
RE: Simple furnace repair.
They wanted my credit card number before they would come out.
They tried to sell me a new furnace , they tried to tell me that the part (blower wheel) required to complete the repair was no longer available ,charged me 190.00, they withheld the truth regarding the part.
Our regular furnace man ( a real furnace repair man) had just returned from vacation a couple of days later. He came out, looked at the problem , found the part at the furnace parts suppler ,installed it and had it running within two hours at the cost of 339.00.
We called Dupont to advise them of this , they tried to skate around the issue claiming that they diagnosed the problem and that was that, too bad. What a joke of a company.
We called the credit card company to advise them about this , they are looking into the matter.
I left my name and number for the owner (Mr. Gallo ) to call me to discuss the matter ,he has not returned my call (it's been 5 days) and I suspect he never will.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY DO NOT REPAIR THEY JUST WANT TO SELL YOU A NEW FURANCE
