The only reason this gym is still there is because it's the only gym in Aldergrove.

Apart from the rude signs all over the gym, and the snobby receptionists, you better watch out for your bank statements. I cancelled my membership with them back in July 2011, and in December I have charges coming out for a few bucks here and there. It appears they are trying to balance their books by debiting old accounts. I have called THREE time to find out why they still have access to my account, and they have yet to call me back. Maybe I will sue??

Similar experience to others. Went to this Gym for months, then moved out of town for School, had to give 30 day notice AND pay $20.00 fee for cancelling?

Recently, as a repeat customer I inquired if they would compete with competitor pricing - the rep had the courage to pipe up "this isn't mexico" and provided excused that the contract cannot be altered (yet everywhere else does it?) I left without joining. Is that how you greet returning customers?

6 months later I emailed to have the owner contact me sinceas I was informed she was the one to approve any contract changes. I always wanted to offer constructive critism to help promote more business and customer satisfaction. The phone call I recieved was from a rep, once again, offering no constructive outcome or good response to my questions or conerns.

Within the last few weeks, I went in to sign up provided they waive the $100 initiation fee (for what? and why for a repeat customer?) as well as the $20 cancellation fee (why is it applied to the month to month I was inquiring about, whcih is at a premium price which is USUALLY a trade off for a no commitment contract). Again, was told this all had to be approved - said for them to call me - no phone call.

Unfortunately I haven't been so motivated to express my concerns to others about the poor managing of contracts, customer service and negotiations. The logic behind this place is quite worriesome. I reminded them that for the last 6 months they could have profited an extra $270 but because of their persistance to have the highest rates in the lowermainland - that didn't happen.

I recommend others to consider Blair pool, fitness world (steve nash), fitness unlimited and university gyms.

Forgot to mention with the premium price for this gym - its the ONLY gym I know that closes earlier on friday and at 6pm on saturday, 5pm on sundays?

people are right, the only reason this place is here, is because its the only gym in aldergrove! after almost a year of going here I had to finally quit. below are good and band points:

Good - not too crowded
Good - Heavy dumbells
Good - location for people in the area

the BAD:
-smells of urine
-multiple bulbs burnt out, your working out in the dark corner
-equipment isn't lubricated properly or isn't repaired, ie hydraulic seats, frayed steel cables, broken treadmills & bikes
-Sauna doesn't work
-Mold growing on shower curtains
-Gym equipment isn't laid out very good
-Gym equipment is huge for its purpose, could use simplier equipment
-gym uses rubber plates, when steel should be used - constantly pinching fingers by putting plates on a tree rack that overlap each other for each PEG
-shitting hours on friday, saturday and sunday (close earlier)
-not a very good deal at the juice bar
-TV's are 15 years old
-no elliptical....really....? like really?

*** this gym motivates me to open my own in the area, I inquired how much to buy this place, because its apparently for sale, the 1.5 million dollar price tag for a leased building made me laugh, that means you need 1.5million income per year to be taken serious ***

Ilove the atmosphere of this club! It bugs me when i read bad reviews about a club that i have been a member of since it opened.
Its one of the only private gyms left. It is NOT expensive or have that big box feel

Im on my third month at this gym, I really like it. The staff is friendly, its clean, and everyone keeps to themselves. There are plenty of trainers if need be. they offer all the services of a large gym with a better atmosphere.
