Puffin Mechanical is a family-owned and locally operated company that provides energy savings solutions to homes and businesses throughout southeastern Virginia and into Richmond, Virginia. For homeowners, this includes Home Performance Testing, Air Sealing and Attic Insulation, and HVAC services. For small businesses, we provide HVAC Services and free on-site energy assessments through Dominion Energy Virginia’s Small Business Improvement Enhanced Program. Puffin Mechanical is a participating contractor in this program and one of the few providers in the Commonwealth of Virginia to provide this service. This helps businesses identify and receive incentives for energy efficient improvements. Our family team is headed up by our President, Rob Hammond. With over 20 years working in the HVAC industry and a Master’s in this field, Rob is also BPI certified as a building analyst. This gives him the knowledge, training, and experience to help both homeowners and business owners and operators. Our team’s focus is on energy savings using real tests and data to determine energy consumption.
