Daniel C. Brown, MD, is a practicing pediatric pulmonologist at Prisma Health Children's Hospital–Midlands with special interests in asthma, pulmonary function testing, cystic fibrosis and bronchopulmonary dysplasia. He is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology, and serves as a clinical assistant professor with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. A graduate of Hillsdale College, in Hillsdale, Michigan, Brown received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed a pediatric residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine/Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, and a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville.
