My decision to become a doctor was based on a love of science combined with a compassion and desire to help others. My favorite thing about pediatrics is being able to develop a long-term relationship with families and be part of their team to help their child achieve health and well-being. My approach to care is to try to be as evidence-based as possible with keeping the particular needs of the individual patient in mind. I love working with all different ages and types of patients but have a special interest in working with children who have attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Outside of work, I like to be as active as possible hiking, taking ballroom dance lessons, traveling and watching my daughter's soccer games.
