It started with a passion for home decor and as the search for an easy-to-clean, practical rug became challenging, we then found ourselves doing in-depth research into different types of rugs, which led to Area Rug Shop. With our very first shop opening in Barrie, ON in 2010, we now have multiple showrooms with an online platform serving thousands of clients all over North America.
Our philosophy is simple: providing affordable, quality products with unparalleled customer service by giving our clients an engaging shopping experience. We travel the globe, searching for inspiration and pride ourselves in being trend-setters. We design our rugs out of Toronto, ON and are committed to ensuring all of our rugs are OEKO-TEX Certified.
All of our showrooms have everything from small to large, round to rectangular, handwoven rugs and machine made rugs. We hope to see you soon at one of our showrooms!
