She attended the University of North Texas for her bachelor in biology. She then graduated from medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas. She completed her otolaryngology residency also at UT Southwestern and has practiced in the DFW area for over 25 years.
She is married and enjoys hiking, swimming, bike riding and cooking.
