Tried calling them multiple times to find out about storage availability. Every single time they told me that there is no one to answer my question at specific location today and to call back, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next week… when I questioned them on how they even have a business they told me … TO RELAX! Horrible customer service and obviously nobody at the site of the business present ... ever! I will certainly stay away

Avoid Shield Storage - Our Belongings Were Stolen!

A nightmare experience.

Complete Lack of Accountability:
Despite being directed by someone on their premises to leave our items in an unsecured bin, Shield Storage flatly refused to acknowledge any responsibility when our belongings were stolen. They later claimed that the person who gave us directions was not a representative of their company, raising serious questions about their internal security and communication protocols.

Abysmal Communication:
From the moment we reported our missing items, their communication was dismissive, unhelpful, and downright rude. They consistently failed to provide any meaningful assistance or clarification. Even after detailing our experience and requesting a review of their security footage, they refused to take any action.

Inadequate and Ineffective Security Measures:
The facility's security protocols are shockingly poor. Despite having security cameras, Shield Storage outright refused to review the footage for the period when our items were stolen. This suggests either a lack of proper security measures or a complete disinterest in ensuring the safety of their customers' belongings.

Unprofessional and Uncooperative Response:
When we attempted to resolve the issue amicably, Shield Storage's response was to shut down the conversation and refuse further communication. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and indicates a severe lack of customer care and responsibility.

Conclusion:
I cannot stress enough how crucial it is to avoid Shield Storage. The lack of accountability, abysmal communication, and inadequate security measures make this company a dangerous choice for storing your valuable belongings. Trust your items elsewhere – Shield Storage is not worth the risk.

Needed extra storage in the area when downsizing to a condo. Other storage facilities were double the price and half as convenient. Kim is amazing to deal with and makes accessing units easy. Pleasant experience and would rent again if needed.
