Additional business details
My goal is to improve the quality of life for my patients by:
Eliminating or reducing disabling seizures in those with refractory epilepsy
Lowering the risk of SUDEP (sudden unexplained death in epilepsy)
Providing support for the psychological and social issues related to epilepsy
My ultimate goal in treating epilepsy is to stop my patients’ seizures. In up to a third of cases, patients may still have seizures despite adequate medical therapy. In these cases, surgical options can reduce—and sometimes end—seizures for many.
I work with other experts in epilepsy, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, neurosurgery, and neurology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. By combining our knowledge and experience, we provide the most up-to-date care for patients with seizures.
Epilepsy care is always evolving, with many new medical and surgical options being developed in the last decade. Our adult epilepsy program is at the forefront of research and new innovations.

We work collaboratively within our specialties and across disciplines in order to provide an evidence-based practice approach. Whether your neurological issues are cognitive/behavioral, epilepsy, headache, movement, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular, stroke/cerebrovascular or general, we will work with you and your family to provide the best possible medical outcomes.
