Publix Super Market at Morgan Road Plaza

I love Publix but the Publix on Morgan Rd needs to close and start over. For this to be a new establishment, I have noticed flies (dead and alive) in the prepared foods. When I brought it to the staff’s attention she just fanned the flies away after they had landed on the food. She did not cover the food nor did she discard the food. I’ve noticed dead flies in the fresh seafood section. The dead flies were lined up against the glass where the fresh seafood is placed. I told the staff member and he acted like this was new. Those flies had been there for some time . When I brought this matter to the store manager he stated, the corporate office is trying to come up with a solution for the prepared foods and they know there is a fly problem with their prepared foods. He also stated the seafood glass is cleaned every night. I know that is not true because I made it my business to go back and the same problem persist… flies dead in the seafood section. This place is nasty and obviously doesn’t care about their customers.
