Dan Seemann joined First Command Financial Services in March 1992, following a 14-year career in the United States Army. He attained the rank of Major and last served as a military attaché in the U.S. embassies in Panama and Venezuela.
Dan earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree from Vanderbilt University. He holds Series 6, 26, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life, health, personal lines and property and casualty insurance licenses. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ certificant and has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation from the American College.
Understanding that the single most powerful contributor to financial well-being is behavior, Dan works closely with each client to develop a unique financial plan that reflects their values, addresses their priorities and supports their goals. Each plan includes recommendations for specific financial products and services to support those goals. And through ongoing planning to address changes in one's financial and personal circumstances, Dan is ready to assist clients as they pursue their goals through a lifetime financial journey.
Dan is a member of the College Avenue United Methodist Church in Manhattan, KS, and volunteers on the tech team and finance and endowment committees. Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and seven grandchildren. When he has spare time, he enjoys hunting, exercising, and good music.
