Gateway Haven

My Mother has been a resident at Gateway Haven for the past three years. When we were looking for a facility we wanted to be sure the facility was modern, clean, comfortable and above all had a caring staff. My Mother herself managed private nursing homes as an RN for many years so our standards were high. Over the past three years we have not been disappointed. The care she has received has been nothing but exemplary. The programs offered are varied and interesting. The staff are second to none. Angels on earth. We have had the opportunity to move her to facilities closer to Toronto (we travel from New Jersey once a month to visit) but the two and half hours of travel time from the Toronto airport to Wiarton is more than offset by the personal care she receives in this fabulous setting. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone within a two hour drive of Wiarton. Gateway Haven is just that a tremendous haven from any concerns you might have about the care of your loved one.
