During his fellowship, he collaborated on a long-term study of head trauma in youth and high school football players. Dr. Savino completed his neurology residency at Boston University, serving as Chief Resident, and earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College. He is a neurological consultant for the Chicago Wolves, Chicago Hounds Rugby, and local schools.
