Dixie Auto Glass, Mississauga Reviews (8)
I made one call ,got the answers I wanted ,and the work was quick ,and look like new ,thanks again the guy with the black Lincoln ,Pro's all the way
They broke a piece of rare glass they had installed incorrectly at my shop. The left without saying anything and immediately stopped answering the phone. It took 4 days of us calling from different numbersto get through and my boss was told to go fuck her self. I don't know how anyone can run a business this way they are absolutely terrible.
This will end up in small claims court.
Never ever go here.

To be honest when I saw the price posted on their site $177 for windshield replacement I figured the price will likely be for installing a plastic bag on my car...but I did call the shop on Dixie and they explained the options and why my other quotes are over $300++.
My conclusion is that all autoglass shops buy their glass from the same dealers very likely and price you for the work they do for you with the tools and materials being very standard, it is just really a skilled work nothing more and for that reason only I ended up with Dixie and refused to pay so much more for what I understand as same same.
As for Dixie, they did a great job, looks good, no signs of replacing the windshield which is great given that I drive a lease and did not see a need to alert the dealership in case they force me to pay big $$$ for their own shop to do this. Took about an hour to get this all done, there is a Tim nearby so I went for quick lunch.
Good guys.

Good guys.
The bad is that their ads are all over the place showing same day service but what they didn't say is that they only stock popular car models and my car was not one of them...
The good is that after calling on a good number of auto glass shops in Mississauga and even one in Brampton, Dixe auto glass was really competitive, compared to the highest windshield replacement price Dixie was about half that price and compared to the cheapest one they offered me about $50 less but the cheapest I found was a guy in a van offering mobile service which I couldn't trust in case something happens.
So, I scheduled appointment the next day, actually did not use the car that day, was too dangerous to drive, so add to the price the cost of a uber both ways ;)
Windshield replaced perfectly, I am happy and would suggest Dixie to anyone, but just be aware it is not always same day service like the ad suggests.

A super professional experience from the price to the installation. Excellent shop!
Dixie Auto Glass - Tony promotes a lifetime warranty on workmanship. THIS IS NOT TRUE.
I called DAG to notify them of the issue and they would not go to the dealership nor would they acknowledge the issue. The consequential damages to my vehicle totalled $1,600. The fuse and fuse harness had to be replaced due to corrosion. WHY? Bad installation per dealership and another auto glass company. My windshield was not sealed properly.
Be careful.....

This company promotes service with a lifetime warranty. This is not the case. My windshield was not Installed properly. They did not remove the cover on the black base of the windshield prior to installation. What they did was slip the new windshield under the black base which caused the silicone seal to roll. My windshield was not sealed in two places causing consequential damages totally 1 , 500.00.
The true measure of a company's customer service is how they handle a problem.
Tony of Dixie Auto Glass ran for the hills.
They tell you what you want to hear but never ever use these unprofessional.
I would rate less than zero if it was an option.

I went recently to these guys for a windshield glass replacement and when I asked them what kind of glass they use they said "made in the USA". I felt cheated because later I saw that they put Benson Glass made in China, although they said at the beginning US glass. This is cheating. They lie when they say they have OEM glass.
