Arnold Auto Supply Inc, Scarborough Reviews (2)
Windshield leaked air right after installation, Rain sensor and heated windshield options didn't work as well, Manager was extremely rude over the phone and asked me to remove windshield and bring it for him to test knowing that the windshield will chatter if removed. Very cheap quality glass, Don't deal with them.
When my old car needed its windshield replaced, my mechanic told me about this cheap glass place - Arnold Auto Glass.
I had my windshield replaced, and I don't remember having a problem. However, I sold my car less than a year later.
Anyway, when my friend needed to get his windshield replaced earlier this summer, I recommended Arnold Auto Glass.
Because of the low price, he got his windshield replaced at Arnold's. It seemed fine, but shortly after he found out that it was leaking - especially after hard rain.
He took it back to Arnold twice, and they said that the glass was fine and that the leak wasn't their fault. After much heated debates and a lot of back-and-forth, my friend ended up going to the dealership to get his windshield replaced - again.
The dealership found out that Arnold Auto Glass damaged the rubber lining around the window.
I felt bad about recommending this place to my friend, and apologized profusely. I offered to give him some money to take the sting off, but he said that it was okay.
Well, it's not okay. Arnold Auto Glass - you guys suck! You don't take responsibility for your product or service.

I have been dealing with Arnolds Auto Glass for the past 8 years bringing in 3 of my own cars while recomending Arnolds to my friends and family who have also taken there cars there. We have all had excellent service and my own windshield was done promptly with a very good outcome, I have had no problems with leaks or anything. I was very happy with the service, but I have to comment on this becuase I saw you said that Arnoldsreplaced your windshield and you were arguing with them about the replacement...well in fact Arnolds Auto Glass is a supplier, not an installer..so that is a wrong stated fact. So who you would have been dealing with and who would have been installing your glass was an Arnolds auto glass customer...not Arnolds Auto Glass. Just wanted to clear that up, maybe next time when you want to make such a bold comment you will want to get all your facts stright :)
Hey - I'm glad that you had a great experience with Arnold's Auto Glass.
Are we dealing with the same location? A quick Google search indicates that there are at least three different Arnold Auto Glass locations in the GTA.
The shop I'm referring to is located on Midland Avenue in Scarborough.
And yes, I stand by my original review. The shop I referred my friend to has a huge inventory of auto glass, which they both supply and install on the spot.
His windshield was installed by Arnold Auto Glass. When it leaked, I spoke to the manager there when the problems started. I think his name was Moe.
However, your post leaves me puzzled. You said that Arnold Auto Glass had excellent service and that your windshield never leaked.
Yet, later on you said that Arnold Auto Glass is a supplier and not an installer. So what exactly did you have done at Arnold's? You bought the glass there, but did not have it installed by them?
It seems odd that you went shopping for auto glass, bought it at Arnold's and had it installed by someone else.
Hmmm.....
