In the latest instance, I needed a gift for my boyfriend's mother's 70th birthday and was at a loss. She lives in Florida in the winter and does not use a computer. In a flash, the proprietor suggested a unique compact ladies' pen with a cork inlay that makes it a light, delightful writing instrument. Not only did he offer me a discount on the price, but bagged it free of charge in a gift bag with matching tissue.
