In 1972, the business expanded with a new building and began selling lawn & garden outdoor power equipment products from brands including Echo, Snapper and Wheel Horse. Emerich Sales & Service continued to grow through the 70's and 80's and Then in 1995, Kevin Emerich, the son of Arthur and Anna, took full ownership of the family business. We expanded and purchased a second location in 2012 with Ft Edward/S Glens Falls. We again purchased a third store in Melrose/Schaghticoke in 2016. We grew to over 55 employee's and 3 locations. We decided in 2025 to sell 2 of our locations to Salem Farm Supply. Emerich's has consolidated down to 10 Employee's in our One Location in Melrose - Schaghticoke NY 12121. One location lets us put 100% of our Focus on the Customer experience. We are stocking more parts than ever. We added more tech's / Mechanics to our service department. Our Full Focus is on Giving 100% Satisfaction.
