The McGrath Family took ownership in July, 1977 and restored the Inn to it's rustic splendor. Hardwood floors with tree trunks, as beams and supports, set the charm of the living room complete with comfortable Adirondack style furniture. Nothing draws you in like a fire in the large fieldstone fireplace. Soothe tired aching muscles in an old style redwood hot tub. Split log stairs take you up to the cozy country bedrooms, all with private bath.The Inn is ideally located right on Route 4, 1/4 mile up the road from Killington's Pico base lodge, making the Inn at Long Trail one of the closest inns to Killington. Also, the Green Mountain Golf Course is only minutes away. Innkeepers Murray and Patty McGrath live on premise, and invite you to stay and enjoy their hospitality.
