Really the rating is 0 that is what they deserve. On mattresses we spare no expense and do not shop for bargains. In 1996 I bought a mattress from Sleep Country and it was great. In 2012 I bought a mattress from them for $2000, in 90 days it started sagging, my husband I could not believe it, after a year we received a replacement as it was covered under warranty ( poorly made in the first place) we upgrade and spent another $1600 and had a new mattress delivered. Within another 90 days it started sagging.

At this point I am ready to throw out the mattress and go to Costco and buy two Sealy twins to cover our King size box spring. They look solid and are only $400 each.

Sleep Country is no longer a good company. They try to pass off poor quality mattresses as good quality mattresses. A mattress that sags after a few months is garbage. This company is here today but likely will not be in business in 15 years. I would never never never buy from them again. We spent $3600 in the end and have a useless, back aching mattress that is not serving it proper purpose.

Sleep Country know they sell garbage mattresses as I am sure they are hearing the complaints. What are they doing about it? Nothing! This business is not ethical and they really don't care about what they sell nor what their customers think. If they did they would change, and they are not. Good luck shopping for a mattress. My advice by anywhere else other than Sleep Country.

After having the same box springs and mattress for 30 years with no problems, I decided to change the mattress and box springs on two of the beds because they were all getting old. I when to the Sleep Country Canada and I bought 3 mattress, 3 box springs, 1 head board, and 1 frame. Sleep country deliver all, set them up and took away the old one. They did not make any recommendation. I bought three different types of mattress depending on who was sleeping in them, the sizes of my beds, and their future use, that was four months ago. Then my husband said, “That the most expensive of the mattress was sinking down, that he was sleeping in a hole. “ Normally I would also be sleeping in that bed but due to some sleep problem only he has been sleeping in that bed. My husband decided he would turn it around because the mattress could not be flipped over because it was a pillow top. When doing this my husband’s finger when right in the seam of the mattress, it torn. So I called the Sleep Country the location where I bought the mattress after being given another number I got to talk to someone and they said, “That they would sent out an inspector to check out the mattress and box spring on the queen size bed. “ We waited two weeks and his words to me was that the box spring was sinking down because we do not have enough support in the middle of the bed, box spring are not made has strong has they use to be, they use soft instead of hard wood and the material are not has good like they use to be when we bought our old mattress and box spring. Because I told him I never had a problem before and no one at the store or deliver people told me this could happen, because I would have only bought mattress instead and kept my old box spring with stronger support. He also said, “Any mattress that is torn would not be covered.” I told him,” That for 30 years we use to flip the old mattress and never had this problem. I call them because the quality of the product was poor and because the box spring was sinking down.” He also said, “That I should have supports under my box springs like wood, because of this Sleep Country would not cover it. I was so mad because I spent over $1000.00 plus taxes it was on sale- for that set. I called Sleep Country and was told that they would call me back, waited four days no phone call so I call and they said that they did not get my message but two of the people I talked to quoted what I said in the message. So my husband put pieces of wood that cost up about over $40.00 to support the bed. We also put wood under the other full size bed- paid $815.00 plus taxes that I had been sleeping in because it was getting the same, but my frame has more support and it is the same has Sleep Company warranty says I should have. The bed down stair has only been slept in once but I bought the whole bed, frame, headboard, mattress and box spring from Sleep Country. At no time did they tell me that I need more support. I very mad at the poor quality of the mattress, but especially the poor quality of the two box springs and the poor service since buying these product. I called Sleep Country again today waited again no call back. Finally I post a some of this letter to them on their web site and they finally got someone to call it took another week for someone to come out and take a picture, It now been over 6 weeks ago since my first call to them, finally the inspector came out again looked at both bed and saw what we had done and that it was not working this was a week after my call. He told me someone would call me and they did the same day but told me that someone would call me the next day because they would the replace the mattress, I asked for my money back to go somewhere else and was told no. I was given a number to replace the mattress only and I when down to the Sleep Country on Scott and Lake Street. the guy that help me said I could have to take same kind and I said I did not want that, I was told that I could only get a replacement of the same dollar amount paid before the sale. I was so mad and told him finally he shows me a different mattress and told me that it was an on sale but a $100.00 more. I keep on being mad and finally he said he would give me that mattress without me paying more, he was the only one who I feel did his job right because it only takes 1 minute to lose a customer and that word of mouth could lose you many more of her family and friends. I am very disappointed in the customer service. I am still not happy I feel they should have replaced the box springs. I bought the Sealy brands of mattresses and box spring and they are not well made, my new mattress is different make. I would not recommend Sleep Country or Sealy products to anyone. Now I am stuck with poor products and will more likely have to spend more to replace even when my husband had when out and put more wood under the two beds. I already spend approx. $3000.00 so plus the cost of the wood, which is still not working well. I know I will be lucky if I to get one year out of them sure not 30 years. I hope this never happens to you. I know I will tell my friends and family about this. I feel that they do not honor the warranty or follow their mission statement. I think they were giving me a run around hoping I would

We bought a mattress set and paid almost $2000 for it all. After a few weeks we had the whole thing replaced because it squeaked so bad. After another three years we threw it all in the garbage because the sides were sagging so bad on both sides, we always felt as if we were going to fall out of bed.
NEVER AGAIN!!!

I am a very fussy guy, and and even fussier sleeper. For six years after a motorcycle accident I wanted a new mattress. Ironically my new SC mattress arrived one day AFTER a car accident (no, neither accident was my fault).

I cannot say enough good things about how SC serviced my every need, from (a) letting me fall asleep (like Goldilocks) on three different mattresses, until I found one that was 'just right', to (b) two separate and unique warranty situations.

Sleep Country is great. Too bad the Obus mattresses are discontinued, as I have recommended them to hundreds over the past three years.

I purchased a Serta Chateau Mattress Set 3 1/2 years ago from Sleep Country. I have not had a good night's sleep for the past six months. An inspector came over and told me that they would only replace it if there was a 1 1/2 inch sag. Needless to say, with the memory foam pillow-top the sag is very slight. BUT I'm complaining about the support that it does not have anymore.
I have back pain constantly and I don't know what to do. I called Customer Service and they advised that if I went to the store and pick another mattress they would give me good discount.
Well, thanks very much but why should I pay for another mattress after 3 1/2 years --- why don't the ads tell you that the warranty really doesn't mean a hill of beans when it comes to comfort and support.
I am a senior and after saving for a long time to get a new bed I simply can't afford to spend the money on a new one.
I was also told by one the sales people that I should contact Serta directly which has put a lot of stress on me.
Thanks a lot Christine Magee, but you can be sure I will never purchase anything from your store again. I will also spread the word about your famous warranty.
