I purchased a table set and 4 chairs over 4 weeks ago for over $1,200. Paid over $100 to rent a truck and pick up my dining set. I got home and the box only had 3 chairs. Paul refused to deliver the chair and asked me to meet him half way or wait a week. I decided to take the 30 minute drive back to his store only to get a floor model with marks on it from where he wiped it down! He promised to have a new chair "next week" and repeated the same "next week" promise now for the next 4 weeks. I still have a dirty floor model after paying over $1,200 for what was supposed to be a brand new dining set. He's now started to get rude on the phone when I make my weekly follow-up call.

Next step is to use whatever consumer protection tools that are at my disposal.

Once Paul (the owner) has the sale, his attitude towards you immediately changes, he gets rude and he shoves you aside if you have a problem or complaint with your purchase.

Also, pricing isn't much lower than competition and considering he won't beat competition but will just price match, you're better off going to the big box competition who will put more effort into customer service and complaint resolution.

Our experience was very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful, without being pushy. Our product was custom ordered, and the delivery time was exactly as they said it would be.

I may not need much more new furniture for awhile, but I would certainly recommend jp furnishings.

I have recently visited J.P Furnishings located in Stoney Creek. I had never heard of the store before but with it's stunning furniture showroom i decided to look around. The customer service was fantastic. The sale associates were friendly and helpful and not pushy at all. My husband and I had previously shopped around for bar stools and we found the best prices at J.P Furnishings. I would highly recommend this store to anyone seeking fair prices for high quality furniture with great service!
