Fred's Furniture Gallery

A friend told me I should check this furniture place because I couldn't get a deal on a good living room set elsewhere. Real glad I did because it was the only place that seemed to understand that good customer service entails good deals as well! At this furniture shop, you are treated like a real person even if you are a little guy like me! I would recommend this place to anyone.

If you want a deal on furniture, the best in the town, then go to Fred's Furniture Gallery in Guelph. We almost didn't when we read one of the reviews but we decided to go anyway and boy oh boy were we happy that we did! We seen a set we wanted at another place and the best deal they would give us would have cost us $300 more and the quality at Fred's Furniture was much better too! We are glad we went! Good deal, good service and very nice stuff this furniture place! I highly recommend it!!

Several Months ago me and my wife bought a new home in the Guelph area. We shopped around at numerous furniture stores looking for a good deal and quality furniture to furnish our entire household. Customer service has always been important to us and we have raised our young ones to understand the importance of this as well. We must say, that out of all the furniture stores we have gone to in order to make a purchase, Fred's Furniture Gallery in Guelph was extraordinary! Not all the other places we had gone to but there were several furniture places that seemed they didn't care at all if we bought from them or not, they didn't smile nor were they friendly towards us. We just didn't feel welcomed at these other places. When we finally went to Fred's Furniture Gallery, we were blown away by their wonderful customer service. Wow! Even my 11 years son noticed it and said "I really like them people their, they are are very nice people Mommy"! We were even encouraged by Fred's Furniture Gallery when we had already made up our mind to buy all of our furniture from them, to check out a few other shops that we where unaware of before buying from them. What other store does that? In the end, We purchase everything at Fred's Furniture Gallery except our daughter's bedroom set. We bought that at one of the furniture shops that Fred's Furniture Gallery suggested that we go to check out. One thing more I want to say is my family agrees that we really have made a great honest friend with the Fred's Furniture Gallery! Also, we did get better prices from them than what others were willing to give! We really appreciate the Fred's Furniture Gallery!

I bought a living room suite from Fred`s Furniture. After one year the armrest ripped. I was disappointed with them because the would do nothing for me. I had to order a piece of material and get an upholster to redo the whole armrest. I was told by the upholster that the previous material was pulled too tight and that is the reason it ripped. He did such a get job that it looks like a new couch. It costs me out of my pocket and Fred would not consider contacting the manufacture because it was over the grace period. Very back service. Looks like they are only afer the sales and forget what comes after.

I worked with Fred in the 70's and always had the highest regards for him, his work ethic intergrity were exceptional.

i recently purchased a rather expensive living room suite from fred's. this furniture is falling apart after approximately 6 months. i have been told by fred's that they do not stand by their products that they sell and our complaint is with the manufacturer and, to be honest, there is some action in the wind. however, for the furniture to be rebuilt we will be without furniture for the duration and there is no guarantee the problem will not re-occur. i feel that fred's should stand by their sale and replace our purchase and then it is their problem to fight with the manufacturer.
i only wish i had read the previous comment on this web-site. another unsatisfied customer.

I purchased a bedroom set for $10175.00 from Fred's. The salesman (Dan) told us this was the best deal they could give. The next week my wife had the same set quoted from another sales person and she was quoted $9500.00. When we brought this to the attention of management we were told that the deal was done and that they would not honour the lower price. I was ripped off and you will be to. Do not shop at Fred's!!!
