Growing up in her family’s drapery business, Emma Boursalian learned at an early age the value of excellent products and stellar customer service. This on-the-job experience served her well, giving her a practical set of skills that sets her apart from other design professionals.
After graduating from Arcadia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and Fine Art, Emma opened AVAKIAN DESIGN CENTER in Newtown Square in 2014. She has worked with clients throughout the area, from Bucks County and the Main Line, to Delaware County and Chester County. While keeping her clients’ taste and style uppermost in mind, Emma thrives on the challenge of designing custom-tailored looks that are both elegant and timeless.
Interior design, custom drapery and furniture are Emma’s passions. But the best part of her job is seeing the happy looks on her customers’ faces at the completion of a project: “I get the greatest joy and satisfaction when I see my client’s happiness after transforming their home or commercial space.”
