Rollason Flowers Limited

The ONLY reason that I would rate Rollason Flowers 2 out of 5 is because up until today I have not had any major problems with them. The staff is usually VERY helpful when placing an order as was the case when I placed my order for Mother's Day 2014.

The woman with whom I initially spoke was extremely pleasant and helpful; she even went as far as to suggest that I call her back on the toll free number and then went on to inform me that they do not have a minimum order requirement, just the additional delivery fee so if I ever wanted to send just a few stems someday that I could do that. Unfortunately, I did not record her name but it was an absolute pleasure to speak with her.

I just called back today to request that the delivery drivers try to deliver the flowers that I ordered before a certain time as the recipient had an unexpected change in her work schedule. I obviously realize that flower shops cannot guarantee a delivery time, especially on such a busy day and I mentioned that to the woman that answered the telephone from the start of our conversation. She interrupted me SEVERAL TIMES during our three minute conversation and had a very unpleasant tone. When I was able to get a word or two in I told her that I understood that there were no guarantees but that I would appreciate it if they could at least try. Finally, I had had quite enough of her attitude and being treated this way with absolutely no just cause. I told her that her attitude was a problem and that I was not being unreasonable at which point she raised her voice and kept speaking over me. I do not typically do this but as I as unable to reason with this tyrant of an order taker I simple hung the telephone up. To her credit she says that she did try to call me back and claims that I hung up on her when it must have been a bad connection because I did not get any calls to my home number. The fact that she has the audacity to accuse me of this is just astonishing.

My Husband called back and spoke with the Manager who passed us off to the Marilyn, the miserable woman with whom I spoke initially. She then proceeded to tell my Husband that I was lying and that I was the one who raised my voice and had a bad attitude. Not once did she or the "Manager" offer even the most insincere of apologies. We were not looking for anything more than that, never once did we ask for any sort of discount we simply wanted an explanation as to why the staff at Rollason Flowers believes that it is within their rights to speak to long established, loyal customers in the way. Unfortunately, all we ended up getting was confirmation that the Management is supportive of such terrible treatment of their customers. Will NEVER do business with them again.
