Lasting Memories

My daughter's best friend sadly passed away Dec. 23, 2011 at the age of 6 years old. We wanted something simple to send to the funeral home to honour her, and settled on a single yellow rose, symbolizing their friendship. I called this flower shop on Dec. 24, undoubtedly one of the busiest days of the year. I wanted to have the flower delivered on Mon., Dec. 27. The employee who took my order informed me that they were closed that day, but transferred my call to the owner of the shop. When I told the owner what my wish was, she immediately said she would come in on her day off and deliver the flower herself. She did what she said she would, and there to honour Sydney was a beautiful rose for both days of the visitation. This lady went above and beyond for less than $15. I wanted you all to know what a kind person runs this shop. I wish her every success in her business and personal life. Thank you.
